WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
Creatives encounter situations that involve risk, fear and failure more frequently than in any other profession.
The lifecycle of a creative project often involves putting personal work out into the world, work that may not achieve the required aims and also may not be valued in the eyes of an audience. So creatives need to cultivate a versatile toolkit involving skills like resilience, courage and self-awareness in order to achieve success.
This podcast was born out of questions that I had when starting out as a freelance creator. Now expanding it further to gain insight about individuals journeys and also more practical advice like money management the concept for the Creative Venture was brought to life.
This is the interview series where I talk to successful creatives, some who have decades of experience and also aspiring creatives, people who are in real time trail blazing a path, and talk us through how they are cultivating those necessary creative skills. In a world tutorials for practical hard skills are just a click away it seemed a glaring fifty percent of the journey wasn’t being discussed….until now.
